Inspiration and New Research Exchange at HPO Book Event
Over 200 managers and board members representing both profit and non-profit organizations from all over the world, including The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, China, Japan and the UK, attended the Maastricht School of Management (MsM) and HPO Center book event. It was an inspiring program sharing great case studies and an enthusiastic audience.

Among the highlights, HPO Center academic director André de Waal presented a copy of his latest book ’What Makes A High Performance Organization’ to Professor Wim Naudé, acting dean of MsM. During the afternoon, André also presented his latest HPO research, which focused the results of implementing the Center’s HPO Framework at a large Telco organization. The conclusion of the Telco case was clear: management practices DO make a positive difference in the bottom line when applying the HPO Framework with discipline!

Following André’s presentation, Rob van den Maagdenberg (Vice President Western Europe at Grohe and managing director at Grohe Netherlands) and Nick Churchman (Director Organisational Effectiveness at HP Defense) presented the ’do’s and don’ts’ during the journey towards a High Performance Organization.%20during%20HPO%20Event%20in%20Maastricht.jpg)
Esther Mollema, managing director of the HPO Center, led the panel discussion, during which many practical and inspiring questions were answered. But the most surprising question was a non-business one: “I am going to get married soon. Can I apply the HPO Framework to my marriage?” Soon we will offer an answer to this question via several short videos.
