
Exclusive co-operation between Namibia Business School and HPO Centre signed.
Today Mac Hengari, Director of the Namibia Business School (NBS) and Dr. André de Waal, Academic Director of the HPO Centre in The Netherlands signed a co-operation agreement to improve the long-term performance of many organisations in Namibia. The co-operation demonstrated that more and more African organisations are committed to becoming a High Performance Organisation (HPO).
André de Waal of the HPO Centre gave several presentations on national television in Namibia and gave a lecture about HPOs and Performance Management for directors and senior managers.
André de Waal founded the HPO Centre to support organisations across the globe to strive for long-term excellence. The HPO Centre has conducted many years of scientific and practical research which organisations can benefit from. The centre work with many organisations in Europe and America, as well as with organisations in developing countries.
The HPO Centre website includes several articles, case studies and research papers from countries in Africa, South America and Asia. Emerging markets and countries with great ambition. Countries like Namibia.
The HPO Centre has previously worked with Iringa University College in Tanzania and De Beers Marine in Namibia. More and more African organisations have the ambition to be an HPO. Both the NBS and the HPO Centre hope this partnership will improve the long-term performance of many organisations in Namibia enabling employees, customers and the country to benefit.
